Harry T. Wilks Leadership Institute
OPPORTUNITY: From late 2004 through early 2005, Fran consulted and helped develop the high school leadership conference “Finding the Leader in You” presented on April 14, 2005 in collaboration with Miami University students and staff.
RESULTS: In addition to serving as a consulting member of the faculty planning team, Fran worked closely with the student planning team. A one-hour pre-conference training was also designed and delivered to all the Leadership Assessment and Workshop Facilitators (who were Miami University students from the Buck Rodgers Leadership Program). Eight different area high schools participated in the day-long program.
