Pilot Test “fran for 5”

A micro-coaching asynchronous mini-consultation with Fran Kick

Now ANYBODY can talk to Fran Kick and get his help!

This mini-consultation is a simple five-question or five-ideas (your choice), micro-coaching, asynchronous, on-demand short-term, solution-oriented pilot test experiment that confidentially creates a private one-on-one video conversation with you and Fran Kick.

The best part is you can reply when you want without all the hassle of scheduling another virtual meeting. That means zero 🗓️ Doodle Poll, Calendly, or Google Calendar invites required! 😉

Just click the “Create a Message” button, turn on your camera, select your microphone, and record the questions or issue you want to share with Fran. Take all the time you like!
Fran receives your message, gives it some thought, and then replies within 24-48 hours.
You’ll get a notification that your reply awaits so you can watch the video when you want.
Then just to make sure you have clarity, feel free to ask a follow up question.
Fran receives your follow up question and responds back to you.

That’s it! You can also add an attachment image, PDF document, or any additional text to your message. Perhaps even a URL you want to share (PG-13 😉 please). Knowing that this is an experimental pilot test, Fran might even share some additional resources or references you can dig into for more insight. Simply striving to create an easier way to help you get what you need to succeed.

According to Psychology Today, research has found that the average cost in the U.S. for a single session frequently falls between $100 and $200. Certainly prices can vary depending on the state, location, and provider. For example, a clinical counseling session in New York City can cost an average of $194. While in West Virginia, they run between $111 and $180 per session.

For app-based sessions such as BetterHelp, prices range from $65 to $90 per week (billed every four weeks), so monthly cost can range between $260 and $360.

In 2023, the International Coaching Federation (ICF) an association of personal and professional coach practitioners found that the overall average fee per each one-hour coaching session was $244.

The American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) finds that couples counseling sessions are usually more expensive than individual sessions. Most professional couples counselors offer 90-minute sessions, so a one-and-a-half hour session can cost between $150 and $300.

That’s on average $148 per session. However for this pilot test experiment, if you are willing to share a video testimonial afterwards sharing how positive and constructive this micro consultation helped YOU, you won’t have to pay anything. If not, you decide how valuable the experience was for you and pay $5, $10, $15, $20, $25, $30, $35, $40, $45 or $50—your choice. (It’s part of the experiment!)

NOTE: This mini-consultation process is an intentionally limited micro-consultating opportunity. While Fran does have a background in clinical counseling, this is NOT a clinical counseling experience! This is more like a chance to ask a quick question and have Fran share a few next-step ideas and/or resources. Consider it a virtual 1-on-1 Q&A after a presentation. Fran simply wants to help you take a better/smarter next step. This is designed to be a solution-focused brief asynchronous back-and-forth conversation to help you KICK IT IN!

Fran Kick has a proven track record of bringing people and ideas together using research-informed strategies with a real-world pragmatic approach. Combining his educational and clinical psychology background with a people-first process, Fran Kick brings brainstorming and idea implementation to life.
